From an old pile of logs we cut over 6000 board feet of wonderful lumber. At the time he was very happy and six months later I bumped into him and he was very, very happy with his wood. I guess he was able to sell and use it so he was a "satisfied customer" so to speak.

Salvaging old beams can be very satisfying. What looks like an old grey beam can be a dry, stable valuable timber.
